Territory
Set in the aftermath of the first mass evacuation from anthropogenic wildfire, these pictures begin unravel the complexity of expansion and future cost. The series sketches out a dialectic with fire in the centre. Observed with large format camera, hovering over the pictures is the moral position and legal ground of Industrialism with the preconditions that Colonialism set up to make land claims, spreading new and different technology that became virtuous.
