Cryograms
Cryograms are the frozen negative of a pyrogram. Together, they represent the conditions of life of plants and animals in subarctic and arctic Boreal forests.
The negative emulsions from the pyrogram series were placed outdoors overnight in freezing air. The exposure to sub-zero boreal air created a negative pair of the pyrographic positive image as a monochromatic crystallisation.
